Sub-Surface Decking Drainage for Balconies

For commercial balconies requiring an efficient and high-capacity drainage solution, the hopper system drainage provides a robust method of collecting and directing water runoff. Sitting under the decking surface, between balcony steels, water can be collected at any point on the balcony and directed to rain water downpipes.

How It Works

Low-Fix or Strong-Span deck boards can be directly fixed to the balcony steels, with between board drainage channels to collect all surface rain water. Gaps are left in the drainage channels and a hopper gutter is fixed to sit under the gaps collecting water under the decking surface. The gutter ends can be sealed and a water outlet can be situated at any point in the gutter, with and opposing overflow also installed.

Key Benefits

High-Capacity Drainage – Designed to collect and funnel large volumes of water efficiently.
Eliminates Water Streaking – Prevents water from spilling down façades, reducing staining and damage to the exterior.
Seamless Integration – Works with soffit drainage and perimeter drainage for a comprehensive system.
Durable and Weather-Resistant – Made from corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-term reliability.

Applications

  • Multi-residential and commercial balconies
  • Podium decks and terraces
  • Steel-framed balcony installations
  • Balconies requiring controlled drainage discharge
  • Decking Edge Drainage

Our edge and perimeter drainage systems provide an efficient way to channel water away from the surface, ensuring a dry and safe environment for both residential and commercial applications.

  • Soffit Drainage

The soffit drainage system is designed to manage water runoff by integrating drainage components beneath the deck surface, ensuring a controlled and efficient removal of excess water.
