Shim Joist Brackets
Shim Joist Brackets provide precise levelling and secure support for support bearers on structural steels with a unique patented solution to save precious installation time. The brackets, which come in 4 height sizes, are fixed down to steels though 6mm holes in the bracket base and bearers are secured through slotted holes in the bracket sides. To create or take account of a desired surface slope, bearers can be fixed at an angle in the brackets, and saving installation time innovative sloped shims can be sat inside the brackets to achieve various heights across the bearer length, reducing the likelihood of having to adjust and re-screw. The brackets are engineered from electrophoretically coated steel ensuring strength and achieving EN13501-1 Reaction to Fire rating of A2.

Aluminium Joists
Aluminium Bearers provide strong and compliant support for non-combustible substructure, engineered from 6063 T6 Aluminium the beams have a Class A2 Rating to EN13501-1 Reaction to Fire. The 3.6m bearer lengths come in 20, 40 and 80mm heights to suit most build up requirements; they benefit from an I beam design for superior strength and countersunk top allowing for flush fixing to steels using countersunk bolts. The bearers are designed to work with MESA non-combustible adjustable supports for flat roof installations or the patented joist support brackets for fixing directly onto steels and can create the perfect drainage slope in compliance with BS 8579. The beams are coated in durable black Qualicoat standard powder coating to reduce substructure visibility from all angles.
